Your journey begins with a pick-up in Dar es Salaam, embarking on a 6-hour drive to Magoroto. Upon arrival, take your time to relax or savor a delicious lunch. Dive into the refreshing waters of Magoroto Lake for a swim, and spend the night in this enchanting forest haven.
After a hearty breakfast, set out on a captivating day of adventure. Hike through the forest to discover mesmerizing waterfalls, and engage in thrilling biking activities. Embrace the beauty of nature and spend another night at Magoroto camp, where the forest's secrets await your exploration.
Following breakfast, your journey continues to Amboni Caves. Begin with a guided city tour in Tanga, exploring historical buildings and absorbing the city's rich culture. Move on to Kiomoni village, where you'll engage in activities like aggregate preparation, local brew, and lime making. The Amboni Caves, located 8 km from Tanga city on the Mombasa road, invite you to explore their various compartments and rooms, each with unique purposes, and learn the captivating stories behind them. Outside the caves, enjoy the lush natural forest, serenaded by the melodies of monkeys and birds. Your guide will weave tales of the caves' natural beauty and history. As the day unfolds, drive back to Dar es Salaam, concluding your expedition.
