Your journey begins with a pick-up at your chosen location in Dar es Salaam, starting around 9 am. The scenic drive to Nyerere National Park takes 3 to 4 hours, allowing you to soak in stunning landscapes.
Upon reaching the park, you'll have lunch at the hotel, setting the stage for an incredible safari adventure. At 4 pm, embark on a boat safari along the Rufiji River, where you'll witness a breathtaking sunset and observe hippos and crocodiles in their natural habitat. Return to your camp by 6 pm for a delicious dinner and evening entertainment.
Rise early at 6 am, savor breakfast, and prepare for an action-packed day. Your second day in Nyerere National Park is dedicated to a full-day game drive. Equipped with a packed lunch, venture deep into the park to witness the diverse wildlife, including lions, giraffes, wildebeests, and the captivating African Wild Dogs.
The game drive continues until around 4 pm, ensuring you experience the best of the park's natural wonders. Return to your camp by 6 pm for a relaxing evening.
On your final day, start your morning at 6 am with a hot cup of coffee or tea. Your local guide, a bushman (Drogba), will take you on an educational bushwalk, lasting about 2 hours. During this time, you'll discover birds, elephants, and other smaller animals while learning about bush survival techniques, local medicinal plants, and the fascinating world of the bush.
After the bushwalk, enjoy a proper breakfast at the camp before departing for Dar es Salaam at 10 am, concluding your enriching adventure in Nyerere National Park.
